Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | One weekend per month with compensatory days during the week | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations across all inpatient units within a 364-bed acute care hospital
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve established patient goals
- Provide discharge planning recommendations following evaluation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists across a variety of clinical areas including trauma, cardiac, oncology, and critical care
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with trauma patient populations
- Vestibular rehabilitation experience
