Senior Staff Accountant

We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas‑Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Weitzman is seeking an experienced Senior Staff | Property Accountant for our Dallas office located in the Uptown area. Responsibilities Full general ledger experience through financial statement preparation and review Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, management fees and lender escrow accounts Bank statement reconciliations Review of accounts payable and receivables for portfolio including cash management Other duties as assigned Qualifications Accounting or Finance Degree preferred – minimum 12 hours accounting required Multiple entity real estate accounting experience required Accrual basis accounting experience required Fundamental understanding of GAAP and its practical application Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) Self‑motivated, detail oriented, organized, with the ability to meet assigned deadlines Ability to effectively communicate and build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the company Dependable with a strong work ethic Benefits MRI and Yardi software experience preferred Competitive compensation Company holidays and generous PTO Employer paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage Medical, vision, and dental insurance Health Savings (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Learning and development classes Monthly social events Free on‑site secured parking Free on‑site gym #J-18808-Ljbffr
