As a Generator Technician, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial backup power systems for telecommunications, emergency services, and local businesses. This is a direct-hire opportunity. This is a remote, site-based role . Candidates must live near or south of Columbia SC , as regular travel to local client sites is required. Benefits Package: Pay of $25 - $35 per hour 401(k) Life insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Paid holidays Paid time off Shift Information: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overnight travel as needed Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED 2+ years of relevant experience Basic electrical knowledge General Requirements: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record DOT medical card required Must pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and twisting Must be dependable and able to work independently Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with shop equipment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment Essential Functions: Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial generators Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues Evaluate and recommend necessary repairs Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various generator models Perform other duties as assigned MAU Workforce Solutions is an innovative global company with extensive experience providing solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, technology and outsourcing to our clients, employees, and applicants.
