Join our dynamic construction team as a Tradesman, where your skills and expertise will drive the successful completion of diverse building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of trades, from framing, carpentry, to structural repairs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on every project. As a vital member of our crew, you will contribute to creating safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing structures while honing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities
- Manage crews INDEPENDENTLY and report to Site Supervisor
- Perform a wide range of skilled trades including framing, carpentry, demo, structural repairs,
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and efficiently on-site.
- Work with laborers and provide guidance and instruction to keep things moving efficiently
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project quality requirements.
- Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material estimates for various tasks.
- Support project management by adhering to schedules, maintaining safety protocols, and documenting progress through reports.
Skills
- Extensive experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for precise execution of tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ability to haul trailer, and leading crews to complete diverse construction activities.
- Expertise in various trades framing, carpentry, structural repairs, helical piers, forming, tuck-pointing, demo.
- Experience in restoration projects or structural repair adds value to your skill set.
