Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medications, and collecting specimens. The LPN administers nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor, monitors and reports changes in patients' conditions, and ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients.

Qualifications Requirements: Diploma in practical nursing from a technical school, community college or hospital. Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of Florida. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications, and their correct administration. One year experience as a Practical Nurse with 6 months in psychiatric nursing preferred.
