About The Human Resources Team The Human Resource Team is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Company's retail stores, distribution center, and business office in the areas of employee relations, training, recruitment, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, safety, liability, and loss prevention. About the HR Coordinator Position The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive human resources support in the areas of employee relations, complaint investigation and resolution, personnel management, benefits administration, and safety. This position shares responsibility for ensuring compliance with federal/state/local employment law and reporting requirements. This position will also assist in building and maintaining positive working relationships between Human Resources and Store Operations and Business Office employees. Qualifications and Experience include, but are not limited to Coordinate with the human resources team to administer various human resource plans and procedures, including unemployment hearings, workers' compensation, leave of absence, benefits, and personnel management. Work closely with the human resources management team in the development and implementation of HR strategies. Update and maintain policies, manuals, forms, and communication materials to ensure alignment with corporate goals, as well as federal, state, and local regulations. Work with Business Office, Store, and Pharmacy Operations management to recruit new employees, while ensuring compliance with Federal/State/Local employment laws and communicating policy and benefit information. Participate in assessing, developing, and facilitating training programs. Build and maintain positive working relationships with store, pharmacy, and business office management to support a high level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Exercise judgment and discretion in assisting managers with policy questions and employee relations matters. Ensure the consistent application and interpretation of company employment policies and practices. Conduct investigations of personnel complaints or issues and respond or elevate as appropriate. Maintain company organization charts. Assist in preparation and evaluation of various human resource reports and maintain Human Resources Information System records. Maintain strict confidentiality with all employment records and Human Resources related information. Other duties as business needs dictate or as assigned by the Vice President of HR. Schedule The Bi-Mart Corporate Office is open 800 am - 500 pm Monday - Friday. Hours will vary depending on workload and assignment.
