As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Status at Amazon Warehouse in Pineville NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas access points and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity maintenance concerns and security-related conditions.
• Monitor access control points visitor activity and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical situations and other critical events in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain accurate activity logs incident documentation and shift communications while supporting emergency response activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
