Assistant Scientist - Entry Level - Chromatography

Entry-level assistant scientist position in a bioanalytical laboratory focused on chromatography and analytical testing of pharmaceutical compounds. The role involves sample preparation, instrument operation, data analysis, and documentation under general supervision in a regulated, GMP-compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical compounds in various formulations and biological matrices
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Review, interpret, and analyze data for technical quality and protocol compliance before QA submission
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and notebooks in compliance with GLP and GMP standards
- Communicate project status updates to project leadership and cross-train on sample preparation techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline or equivalent qualification
- Preferred experience with chromatography and LC-MS techniques
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation, maintenance, and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent manual dexterity and written/oral communication skills
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
