Comprehensive Gynecology Faculty Position

Salary Range:

• Assistant Professor: $273,724 - $320,761 annually
• Associate Professor: $306,975 - $354,924 annually

Our organization is actively seeking full-time faculty members for the role of associate or assistant professor within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically in the Comprehensive Gynecology section. The selected candidates will provide comprehensive, patient-focused gynecological care throughout various stages of life. Expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques, office-based procedures, hormonal and non-hormonal treatments, as well as preventive health care for women, is essential.

Successful candidates will have the chance to enhance their clinical expertise through professional development opportunities, particularly in areas such as:

• Management of menopause and perimenopause
• Weight management and obesity care
• Bone health and osteoporosis prevention and treatment
• Related medical and surgical therapies

Additional responsibilities will encompass teaching and mentoring trainees and students, along with engaging in scholarly activities. The primary focus of the appointees will be to support the practices of the Comprehensive Gynecology section located in Flossmoor, IL, and Crown Point, IN. Clinical activities will take place at our ambulatory surgical center in Crown Point, IN, as well as our main campus in Hyde Park, IL. The clinical responsibilities, including on-call duties in Hyde Park (Gynecology call), will prioritize personalized and compassionate care for women, addressing a wide range of benign gynecological needs within a collaborative academic setting.

Faculty members with relevant experience will have the opportunity to engage in program development, quality improvement projects, and clinical leadership roles within the Comprehensive Gynecology section and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

• Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent degree
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
