Assistant Project Manager

Progressive Roofing is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial roofing projects from planning through closeout. In this field-focused role, you’ll help coordinate crews, materials, schedules, and subcontractors while supporting safety, quality, and documentation. Working closely with a Project Manager, you’ll assist with RFIs, change orders, cost tracking, and client updates. This position offers hands‑on exposure to complex roofing systems, strong training, and clear growth paths into full Project Management or technical specialist roles in a safety- and team-oriented culture. Assist Project Manager with planning and executing commercial roofing projects Coordinate materials, equipment deliveries, and subcontractors Support scheduling, tracking progress, and updating project documentation Help enforce jobsite safety, quality, and company standards Communicate with field crews, supervisors, and clients as directed Assist with change orders, RFIs, and basic cost tracking Participate in job walks, inspections, and punch‑list completion Construction project coordination Commercial roofing systems knowledge Project scheduling (MS Project or similar) Reading construction plans/specs Contract administration Cost tracking and budgeting Change order management Subcontractor and vendor coordination Jobsite safety management Quality control and inspections Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA 10 or 30 certification Construction Management certification (preferred) PMP or CAPM (plus) First Aid/CPR (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
