Responsibilities:
- Designing and overseeing construction projects such as roads, bridges, and water supply systems
- Conducting feasibility studies and site investigations
- Analyzing survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed schematics and blueprints
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Managing budgets and resources effectively
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices
- Experience with CAD software for creating detailed designs
- Knowledge of ArcGIS for mapping and analyzing geographic data
- Familiarity with water treatment systems and wastewater management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and proposals
- Ability to estimate construction costs accurately using construction estimating software
- Understanding of stormwater management using SWMM (Storm Water Management Model)
- Familiarity with Revit for building information modeling (BIM)
