Site Supervisor (Blacksmith Operations) - 1st Shift

East Peoria, IL
$42-$46/hour DOE
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Manufacturing Maintenance Solutions is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead daily operations, support employees, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a strong leader with industrial maintenance experience, proven supervisory skills, and required CAD/design experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support a team of skilled technicians
• Coordinate daily work activities and prioritize assignments
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and project execution
• Train, mentor, and develop team members
• Communicate effectively with customers and facility leadership
• Ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met
• Utilize CAD software to support design, layout, and project planning requirements

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience NEEDED
• 1-3+ years of CAD/Design experience REQUIRED
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Experience with CMMS or maintenance software is a plus
• Blacksmith, fabrication, metalworking, and welding experience preferred
• Knowledge of forging operations, fabrication, metal forming, and welding processes is highly desirable
• knowledge/ use of CAD software in the design of lifting devices
