Funeral Director / Embalmer Location: Logan, Ohio We are currently seeking a compassionate Funeral Director to join our esteemed team in Logan, Ohio. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of funeral services to ensure the utmost satisfaction of every family we serve. Responsibilities Manage arrangements, services, embalmings, casketing/cosmetizing, and removals as necessary Coordinate arrangements with families and other stakeholders to provide compassionate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services Assist families in selecting products and services, and finalizing financial arrangements Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures and complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly Maintain licensure and certifications to meet regulatory requirements Assist in preparing and transferring cremated remains according to industry standards Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements Active Funeral Director license in the state of Ohio or ability to reciprocate Minimum 2+ years of funeral directing experience Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to adhere to the professional dress code of the funeral home Availability for on‑call work as needed In partnership with Fidelity Memorial Group, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and a commitment to work‑life balance.
