Industrial Maintenance TechnicianWe are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift at a manufacturing facility in the Kansas City, Missouri metro. This role keeps pneumatic, hydraulic, manual, and CNC-controlled machinery running and supports ongoing building and grounds maintenance. The Industrial Maintenance Technician works across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fabrication, and carpentry tasks in a fast-changing plant environment.What We OfferBase pay of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus an additional 10 percent shift differential for 3rd shiftMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus short-term and long-term disability coverageGenerous 401(k) offering and flexible spending account optionsVacation time, sick time, and paid holidaysSteady full-time hours with consistent 3rd shift schedulingKey Responsibilities - Industrial Maintenance TechnicianDiagnose and repair production machines, including pneumatic, hydraulic, manual, and CNC-controlled equipmentPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on plant machinery and support systems to reduce unplanned downtimeTroubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical faults using blueprints, schematics, and equipment manualsComplete building and grounds maintenance tasks, including carpentry, fabrication, and general facility repairsPrioritize competing repair requests under production pressure and follow each task through to completionQualifications - Industrial Maintenance Technician5 years of related industrial maintenance or mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production settingWorking skills across electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, machinist, fabrication, and carpentry tradesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsOwn basic hand tools and toolbox, plus reliable transportation to the job siteStrong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to multitask under pressurePreferred Qualifications - Industrial Maintenance MechanicHands-on experience troubleshooting CNC machine tools and machine controlsTechnical school certificate or completed apprenticeship in industrial maintenance or a related tradeWelding, machining, or metal fabrication experienceFamiliarity with a CMMS or work order tracking systemForklift, aerial lift, or lockout/tagout certificationPhysical Requirements - Industrial Maintenance TechnicianFrequent heavy lifting, typically up to 50 pounds, with occasional team lifts of heavier componentsStanding, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing throughout the full shiftWork in an active plant environment with noise, dust, temperature variation, and moving equipmentOn-site 3rd shift schedule with a high level of flexibility as job priorities changeOccasional outdoor work for grounds and exterior building maintenance
