Financial Assistant Position

The Financial Assistant will support the Finance Department with day-to-day operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable, and general financial administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Assist with payroll processing and timecard adjustments Respond to employee payroll inquiries Provide administrative support to the Finance team Maintain accurate financial records Qualifications Education & Experience Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred) 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (healthcare or nonprofit preferred) Experience with payroll processing and accounts payable preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP) Familiarity with grant accounting and cost allocation (preferred in FQHC setting) Proficiency in accounting/payroll systems (e.g., Bamboo HR, Sage) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong organizational and time management skills Why Join BMRHC At BMRHC, you’re part of a mission-driven team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our communities.
