Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision and mission to support unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. What You Will Do in Your Role Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Reflect core values when interacting with co-workers, patients, family members, and the community to foster employee engagement and superior patient care. Lead in a way that inspires commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Represent the organization positively within the community and participate in community/patient events and in-services. Assist with staff scheduling, manage staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines, support inventory control, and manage supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Support the mission and vision of the Methodist Healthcare System and commit to its goals. Learn and comply with system and facility safety policies, use appropriate equipment, report unsafe conditions, and verify safe procedures with supervisors. Adhere to the MHS Code of Conduct and demonstrate ethical behavior; report any activity that appears to violate laws, rules, regulations, or the Code of Conduct. Complete other duties as assigned. What is required Graduated from an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree in nursing. BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN). 3 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Telemetry unit preferred. Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
