Make an immediate impact supporting students as a contracted speech-language professional in a busy, innovative school environment near Arvada, CO. This assignment covers a key backfill role, supporting Aurora Science & Tech, with the opportunity to serve one or possibly two campuses. Join an accomplished team helping K-12 students meet communication goals. The contract runs ASAP through the end of the school year (May 27, 2027), offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours—ensuring a predictable routine and the chance to foster meaningful relationships with students.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) license required
• Accepted credentials: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous school-based experience working with K-12 populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with district-level background screening processes
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to students across a diverse caseload, supporting communication and academic skills
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
• Complete comprehensive documentation, including progress notes, data collection, and IEP paperwork
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and team consultations
• Adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs, cultivating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
