Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Role: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Overview: This contract role offers an opportunity to work as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Reno, NV, providing care during weekday shifts with a consistent schedule. Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive health histories and physical examinations . Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses. Develop individualized treatment and care plans . Prescribe medications and manage medication therapy within state scope of practice. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies . Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, and hyperlipidemia. Provide preventive care , including physical examinations, health screenings, and immunizations. Provide women's, men's, adolescent, and geriatric primary care. Evaluate and treat minor injuries, infections, respiratory illnesses, and other common conditions. Provide patient education regarding nutrition, exercise, medications, lifestyle changes, and disease prevention. Perform or assist with appropriate office-based procedures. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary. Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals. Review and communicate diagnostic results with patients. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) . Schedule and Shift Details: Work schedule is Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. #J-18808-Ljbffr Grammar LLC
