Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians
• Educating patients and their families about prevention, health maintenance, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
• National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
