Associate Software Architect

Associate Software Architect Full-time, regular position for a software architect focusing on designing and developing software architecture solutions inside emerging technologies. The role involves providing leadership in architecture strategy, technical standards, training, and mentorship to development teams. Responsibilities Use independent judgment to design and develop software architecture for projects, software proof of concepts or prototypes in emerging technologies based on inputs from the customer or project team. Design and perfect software coding standards, guidelines, and technology best practices. Analyze, identify, and integrate software tool sets for projects. Develop technical training programs for the organization. Mentor Systems Analyst / Senior Developers. Conduct internal technology seminars and technical training. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Engineering (any branch) or related field. Two (2) years of experience in Information Technology services or related occupation, including Global Delivery model experience and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to all levels. Foreign education equivalent to a bachelor's degree accepted as determined by a qualified credential evaluation service. Travel and/or relocate to any work site in the U.S. as needed with expenses paid by the employer; may telecommute from any location in the U.S. Role Location Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 (Unanticipated work sites throughout the US) Compensation Range $157,123 - $160,000 per year; 40 hours per week: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave per year (pro‑rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching; medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents residing in the U.S.; basic life, accidental death and disability insurance; short‑ and long‑term disability benefits.
