Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Retail Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas throughout a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, customer service, and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:30 AM - 01:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Complete required activity reports and maintain professional interactions while supporting a positive retail shopping environment. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
