As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document observations using available technology. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of retail areas, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
