Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time - Evening - Eventide Lincoln Care Center

Description Eventide Lincoln is currently hiring for a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift (6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.) lasting 4 hours. The position is on an every‑other weekend and holiday rotation. Scheduled days are MWSAT‑SUWF or MTHSA‑SUWF. Ideal Candidate At least 18 years old. Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 6 months of experience as an RN or LPN, preferred. RN or LPN license in good standing in Nebraska or another Nurse Compact state; CPR certification required. Licenses and credentials must be maintained at the employee’s expense and meet Eventide’s vaccination requirements. Essential Job Duties Follow physician orders in accordance with Eventide policies and procedures; receive and record orders when appropriate. Prepare, administer, and/or supervise medication, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered by the physician, following facility policies. Assess seniors and clients and report condition changes promptly to supervisor; provide follow‑up with family and physician as directed. Take and accurately record vital signs. Diligently observe skin to prevent pressure ulcers. Complete procedures and document appropriate information in the medical record, following department protocol for timely submission. Direct and monitor Med Aides delivering medications to seniors and clients, ensuring compliance with the comprehensive care plan. Supervise and educate seniors and clients in self‑administration of medications; assist in teaching necessary skills to enable return to home when applicable. Assist in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care; update the plan based on changes in the senior or client’s physical or emotional state. Compensation At Eventide, we offer competitive starting pay ranges: $36.00–$40.32 per hour for RNs and $29.00–$32.48 per hour for LPNs, based on qualifications, experience, and location.
