Capital Markets Analyst

Support critical functions across Huntington Capital Markets with Equity Capital Markets, Financial Sponsors Group, and Securitized Products Capital Markets teams Support new business development, pitch strategy, transaction structuring, and execution Assist with financial analysis, market research, comparable transaction analysis, client pitch materials, offering memoranda, term sheets, financial models, and transaction-related deliverables Support transactions from early client discussions and marketing materials through execution and closing Develop new business ideas, pitch strategies, and transaction structuring scenarios Prepare client pitch books, transaction comparables, financial models, offering memorandums, lender presentations, and syndication opinions Interact with prospective investors and facilitate deal execution from start to close Complete deal closing checklists and ensure closing components are accurately reported Participate in meetings with current and prospective clients Create and maintain accurate quarterly reports for management Utilize credit fundamentals to determine appropriate risks on clients and transactions in alignment with Huntington's risk profile and external financial markets Maintain current knowledge of risk-related changes affecting assigned responsibilities Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and legal and regulatory requirements Assist business development efforts Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree 0-1+ years' direct experience in investment banking or corporate finance FINRA Series 79, 63 or other necessary combination, or to be obtained within 120 days of hire date Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels Excellent attention to detail Self-starter / intellectual curiosity Progressive thinker and problem solver, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity/complexity Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment Ability to embrace change, constructively negotiate constraints, and effectively leverage resources to create exceptional outcomes Consistently model and inspire high levels of professional demeanor and integrity Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, transaction structuring, and client engagement within investment banking.
