We are looking for a qualified Road Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of equipment at customer sites. Job Description Summary Road Mechanic Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment in challenging remote locations Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment at customer location Maintain fleet of Aerial Work Platforms, construction tools, large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas equipment Work with hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting Use mechanic’s tools of trade Adapt to changing priorities, fast‑paced environment Potential bilingual (Spanish or other) based on location Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired 1‑2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems fundamentals Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required Benefits Health, dental and vision plans 401(k) match Volunteer time off Long‑ and short‑term disability Accident, life and travel insurance, flexible spending Tuition reimbursement options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Length of Service Awards Paid Time Off 12‑25 vacation days depending on years of service 5 sick days 6 holidays 2 half‑day holidays 2 floating holidays 1 inclusion day 1 volunteer day Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full‑time employees, including eligibility after 30 days.
