This position involves supporting student leaders, coordinating club activities, promoting student engagement, and fostering a vibrant and inclusive school community. Club Oversight Serve as the main point of contact and advisor for student clubs and extracurricular activities, including but not limited to academic clubs, special interest groups, and cultural organizations. Provide guidance and support to club leaders, assisting them in planning, organizing, and executing club activities, meetings, and events. Leadership Development Mentor student leaders within each club, helping them develop leadership skills, organizational abilities, and teamwork capabilities. Facilitate leadership training sessions, workshops, and seminars to empower club leaders and enhance their effectiveness. Event Coordination Assist club leaders in planning and coordinating club events, fundraisers, competitions, performances, school dances, homecoming, prom, commencements, senior only events and other activities. Provide logistical support, resources, and guidance to ensure the successful execution of club events and initiatives. Student Engagement Promote student engagement and participation in extracurricular activities by actively encouraging students to join clubs, attend events, and get involved in school life. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to create a supportive environment that values and celebrates student interests and talents. Communication and Outreach Maintain regular communication with club leaders, providing updates, resources, and guidance as needed. Promote club activities and events to the student body through announcements, posters, social media, and other communication channels. Foster connections and collaboration between clubs, encouraging interdisciplinary and cross-cultural exchanges. Budget Management Assist club leaders in developing and managing club budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and compliance with school policies and procedures. Provide guidance on fundraising efforts and financial planning to support club activities and initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field (preferred). Experience working with high school students in an advisory or leadership capacity. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of student activities, clubs, and extracurricular programming. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, administrators, and community members.
