General Cleaner Position
LACOSTA is looking for a General Cleaner to join our team in Lenexa, KS! The Janitor/Floor Care Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in assigned facilities, while also performing specialized floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing hard floors.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week
Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Perform floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing hard floors
- Operate floor machines such as auto scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers.
- Clean carpets using extractors or other equipment.
Requirements:
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
- Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own steel-toed shoes/boots while working.
- Remove all jewelry and accessories.
