Job Description Parsons, one of the world’s largest engineering/construction/construction management firms, has an immediate opening for a CEI Project Administrator / Project Engineer in the Central Florida area. Responsibilities Administer construction contracts for roadway and / or bridge projects to ensure compliance with contract documents. Manage day to day operations of CEI team ensuring project management plan requirements are met. Direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assist in all phases of the construction project. Read and interpret contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings submittals. Ensure verification testing compliance requirements are met. Review and approve progress and final pay estimates. Prepare monthly reporting and/or status updates as requested by the client or management. Coordinate progress and schedules with client and all project stakeholders. Receive general instructions regarding assignments, and exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems and project issues. Qualifications / Certifications Qualifications / certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire provided that all other requirements for the position are met. FDOT Advanced MOT (Temporary Traffic Control) CTQP Final Estimates Level II CTQP Quality Control Manager Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction inspection experience Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida Must obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six (6) months if registered in another state.
