Overview Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our Aberdeen, NJ area service and retail tire sales centers. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure the location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Responsibilities include enforcing policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work; managing outside orders; ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining team safety. Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services. This role directs the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians to deliver timely, high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance. Service Managers drive sales initiatives, communicate with customers, assess needs, provide information on repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations for an excellent in-store experience. To be eligible for the Automotive Assistant / Service Manager position, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess either (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
