General Manager

The Specialized Recruiting Group is hiring a General Manager for a full service kitchen and bath remodeling company in Charlotte. Position Overview The General Manager (GM) leads overall operations, sales performance, installation quality, vendor relations, and customer experience for the company . This role oversees all departments—Design/Sales, Installations, Dispatch/Coordination, and Administrative functions—to ensure a 6-star client experience and profitable, efficient operations. The GM is responsible for strategic planning, staff development, workflow optimization, and ensuring adherence to the company's standards. Key Responsibilities Review all retail designs before client sign-off and contract execution Conduct quality assurance appointments with Designers/Salespeople Review and approve all cabinet orders Approve and release counter fabrication plans Process cabinet and countertop invoices as required 2. Coordination & Dispatch Assist Field Manager with scheduling and job readiness Schedule receiving, storage, deliveries, and installer assignments Create installation worksheets and send Install Awards Maintain Smartsheet stages, statuses, and job notes Update Serviceminder for all retail jobs Schedule countertop templating and coordinate installation dates with fabricators Create proposals, change orders, and new job records in Smartsheets and Serviceminder Maintain job folders including photos, worksheets, and project documentation Schedule FROG and service appointments Plan and execute local marketing strategies Manage SEO, paid leads, digital platforms, and performance adjustments Provide direction and oversight for marketing support personnel (Jezelle, Bita reports) Plan networking events and build strategic partnerships Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure proper task/lead management in Serviceminder Review pricing and margins prior to client presentation Establish sales goals and performance benchmarks Conduct regular training to maintain Cabinet IQ quality standards Audit client files for CIQ sales compliance Conduct re-measure appointments as needed Review and approve operational invoices Manage warranty issues, missing items, and incomplete orders Serve as the escalation point for customer issues Audit job files for accuracy, completeness, and CIQ process adherence Provide strategic recommendations related to staffing, growth, and business development Approve final commission reports Qualifications 5+ years in operations, construction management, home remodeling, or related field Experience managing teams, installers, or trade partners Strong understanding of remodeling workflows, cabinetry, or countertop fabrication preferred High competency in scheduling, logistics, CRM platforms, and digital project management tools Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Commitment to delivering a 5-star client experience Success Attributes Highly organized and effective at prioritization Strong follow-through and accountability focus Process-driven and detail-oriented Comfortable managing both office and field workflow #J-18808-Ljbffr Specialized Recruiting Group - Charlotte, NC
