About the Position

As a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, you'll travel throughout your assigned territory performing portable diagnostic X-ray examinations in:

• Skilled Nursing Facilities

• Assisted Living Communities

• Rehabilitation Facilities

• Residential Homes

• Clinics

• Other healthcare settings

Every day is different. You'll meet new patients, work independently, and provide essential diagnostic imaging for individuals who often cannot travel to an imaging center.

You'll remain connected throughout the day with our dispatch and operations teams, who coordinate scheduling, routing, and communication so you can stay focused on patient care.

What You'll Do

• Perform portable diagnostic X-ray examinations within California scope of practice

• Perform EKG examinations when ordered with an eligible X-ray visit

• Verify physician orders, patient identity, examination details, clinical history, and laterality

• Safely position elderly, medically fragile, bariatric, and mobility-limited patients

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images using portable digital radiography equipment

• Upload studies and complete documentation accurately and promptly

• Communicate professionally with facilities, patients, providers, dispatch, and operations

• Maintain HIPAA, radiation safety, infection control, and company standards

• Maintain assigned company vehicle, portable imaging equipment, and supplies

• Report equipment or vehicle concerns promptly

Required Qualifications

Required

• Active California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

• Current ARRT (Radiography) certification

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to safely transport and operate portable X-ray equipment

• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area

• Strong patient positioning and radiographic technique

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Important: Applicants must possess both an active California CRT and current ARRT registration. California Limited X-Ray Permit holders do not meet the minimum qualifications for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mobile or portable X-ray experience

• Skilled nursing facility experience

• Assisted living or long-term care experience

• Home healthcare experience

• Experience with elderly or medically fragile patients

• Digital Radiography (DR)

• PACS experience

Compensation & Schedule

• $32–$45+/hour DOE

• Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and relevant experience.

• W-2 employment

• Full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities

• Schedule discussed during the interview process

• California overtime, meal periods, and rest periods provided in accordance with applicable law
