Job Description Job Description Medical Assistant Location: Maricopa Foot and Ankle Center Maricopa Foot and Ankle Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Position Summary The Medical Assistant plays an essential role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive high-quality, efficient care. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment. Responsibilities * Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures. * Obtain and document patient medical history and vital signs. * Assist the physician during office visits and minor procedures. * Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. * Perform administrative duties which may including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient records. * Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure instructions. * Process referrals, authorizations, and other clinical documentation as needed. * Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations. * Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience. Qualifications * Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required (depending on experience). * Previous experience in a medical office is preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) experience. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Professional appearance and positive attitude.
