Tax Terms: W2, 1099 Corp-Corp or 3rd Parties: YesLocation: Montvale, NJWho are we looking for?A data modeler capable of translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Focused on reducing redundancy of data within an existing computer system or improving the way in which it moves from one.• Hands on experience with frameworks including entity relationships (ER models), Dimension and modeling languages such as RDF, OWL and VML• Participates in collaborative working environment using the agile methodology• Experience in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models.• Experience in translating/mapping relational data models into Data Base Schemas.• Experience with modeling tools (ERWin and ER/Studio)• Knowledge of RDBMS platforms (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 / UDB, NoSql, MongoDB, Hadoop, Teradata) with experience in generating DDL• Ability to create and maintain conceptual/business, logical and physical data models.• Ability to translate a logical model into a physical model, adding appropriate physical objects needed to create the database e.g. indexes.• Ability to synchronize models to ensure that database structures match models.• Familiar with metadata ingestion and translation.• Expert in CDM, LDM & PDM (persistent and data in motion)• Advanced knowledge of data architecture, design and business processes ODS and Data Warehouse environments.• Exposure and understanding of Big Data technologies and architectures - Hadoop, Cassandra, Green Plum, etc.• Define/maintain application specific solution designs that align to target state data ecosystem architectures, including viable alternatives with value propositions / trade-offs.• Strong experience in platforms like Teradata and/or Oracle with VLDB.
