You’ll start training at our original spot in Valparaiso and help us bring the energy to La Porte when doors open. Heads-up: Ideally, you're local to La Porte and cool with the Valpo commute for training. What You’ll Actually Do Greet guests like you’re hosting a great party Recommend awesome food & drink combos (yes, we’ll train you) Send in accurate orders (special requests? No problem.) Know your stuff—our Blockhead beers, cocktails, mocktails, and food Help keep the place looking great (pre-bussing, stocking, resetting) Run food, refill drinks, support your team Handle payments smoothly and with a smile Say "thanks" like you mean it when guests head out Wrap up your shift with team-assigned side work What Makes This Job Different At Blockhead, we don’t tip pool , but we do team hustle .
