Business Analyst W/ Zephyr Exp - 10+ Yrs ExpJob Location: Princeton, NJ 08540Job Duration: 12+ MonthsLOCALS ONLYCall notes:These are 2 senior high level BA needs. Ideal candidate has excellent communication/presentation skills. Resumes should be multiple pages. At least one of these positions supports the college board modernization project (converting legacy systems or cloud based microservices) which is huge and will last multiple years. Experience with business transformation a huge plus. They aren’t doing small little enhancements here and there; they are blowing up the whole thing and rebuilding it in the cloud. Someone with experience with large enterprise projects like that would be great. They are very picky – spelling/grammar errors on the resume will not be tolerated. Jira and Zephyr are a must. This person’s background could look like an IT liaison, or business person, or business analyst. They are going to write the test cases at the same time they write the user stories, 2 people working in parallel. BA’s working with user stories and Zephyr tracks all the testing scenarios. They aren’t keeping test cases in excel anymore. This is why Zephyr is important. They need someone with enough experience under their belts to be able to sit down and get started right away. This is a very senior role.Job RequirementsThe Business Analyst position functions as an integral member within business units throughout and assist Product Owners in the definition, documentation, and tracking of business requirements. Working with the Product Owner, the incumbent engages the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Functional Centers of Excellence (FCE), and Information Technology (IT) teams to; develop the scope of work necessary to support a proposal, identify delivery solutions, develop cost estimates, and participate in request responses to clients, demonstrating capabilities and proposed solutions. The Business Analyst acts as a consultant and source of knowledge in specialized fields.ResponsibilitiesElicit product business requirements and articulate as epics and features. Facilitate meetings for requirements in storyboarding, design, and refinement sessions. Drive requirements analysis and prioritization. Collaborate closely with IT and other FCEs to translate new product, or product change requests into a set of requirements. Direct development activities, manage, maintain and clarify business requirements, and support test case development. Manage product backlogs actively with the Product Owner. Assist in creation of user stories documentation and general coordination of building out the product. Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function. User Acceptance Testing/Operational Testing (UAT) o Working with Product Owner to develop UAT plans and coordinate execution plans across FCE teams. Adding, or overseeing the addition of, test cases to Zephyr. Confirming test cases meet testing needs (positive/negative scenarios). Overseeing execution of test cases within defined schedule. Verifying test case results/supportive evidence Process Outputs and Deliverables Documented business requirements using JIRA. Documented UAT plans using Zephyr. Spreadsheets and other documents to provide analytics and presentations to customers. User Stories for User Acceptance Testing, and scope documents. Recommendations for product enhancement to improve productivity for business units and IT. User Acceptance Testing: Producing end of testing reports, Ensuring Zephyr test case status is reflective of testing status/outcome.Other Requirements (Specialized skill sets, behavioral/technical)Experience using JIRA is required. Experience using Zephyr is required. Writing creating UAT plans and writing test cases for user acceptance testing is required.
