Job Summary An established independent insurance agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Job Description Customer Service Representative (CSR) An established independent insurance agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a collaborative, service-oriented team. This role primarily focuses on personal lines insurance, with some exposure to commercial lines, and involves providing exceptional customer service, managing policy changes, and assisting with quoting and renewals. The ideal candidate will have experience in an independent insurance agency, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Process policy changes, including mortgage updates, endorsements, and other service requests. Remarketing home and auto insurance policies to ensure competitive coverage and pricing. Assist with quoting new business and processing policy renewals as needed. Manage and service a portfolio of primarily personal lines accounts, with some commercial lines exposure. Maintain accurate client records, policy information, and documentation using QQCatalyst or similar agency management software. Communicate with insurance carriers to facilitate policy changes, resolve issues, and obtain coverage information. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient account management and a positive client experience. Identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and retention. Ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests and administrative tasks. Qualifications/Requirements Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license. 2–3 years of experience in an insurance customer service or account management role, preferably within an independent insurance agency. Experience servicing personal lines insurance accounts, with commercial lines knowledge considered a plus. Familiarity with QQCatalyst or similar agency management software preferred. Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, policy changes, renewals, and remarketing processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Collaborative team player with a positive, professional attitude. Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Compensation Package Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits: Dental insurance and additional benefits, with potential health insurance assistance. Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite, with potential hybrid flexibility based on experience and performance.
