Job Opportunity Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM) Location: Pomona, CA Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our family practice team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, particularly in outpatient clinic or urgent care settings, and be bilingual in Spanish and English. Qualifications:
- Must reside within 50-55 miles of Pomona, CA
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- 2-3 years of experience in an outpatient clinic or urgent care setting
- Experience in pediatrics is strongly recommended
- Proficient in medication dispensing and providing care within the LVN scope of practice
- Current certifications required: BLS
- Deliver quality patient care in a primary care or family medicine environment
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management and community resources
- No facial hair
- No acrylic nails or unnatural hair colors
- All tattoos must be covered
- No visible body piercings, with the exception of earrings
- Earrings must not extend beyond the earlobe and hoop earrings are not permitted
