Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow As a Workshop Mechanic , you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. Your mission is to support Atlas Copco Rental North America's growth strategy as a leader in the Oil Free air rental business in North America. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor . Responsibilities Maintain the fleet in the shop. Change oil, oil filters, and air filters on equipment returning from rent. Wash equipment returning from rent. Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment. Repair down equipment in the shop. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory. Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines. Improve measurable success to business targets. Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience as an industrial related service field mechanic. Appropriate electromechanical degree or training. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics. Expected to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature, walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
