Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in the Saratoga Springs, NY area. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Weekly pay: $2,071–$2,166 per week. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting within the Albany/Saratoga health system area. This travel assignment has no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient status, monitor vitals, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changes in condition
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Document care activities accurately and maintain compliance with unit standards and safety protocols
- Coordinate patient flow, discharge planning, and transitions of care; assist with procedures as needed
- May be required to float within the hospital to support patient needs based on skillset

Requirements
- Active New York RN license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital Med-Surg nursing experience
- Travel experience: listed as required in parts of the posting; confirm with the hiring manager
- Willingness to float within the hospital as needed according to the nurse’s skillset
- Complete HealthStream online orientation modules (approximately 12–15 hours) prior to start; Relias EKG exam may be required within 72 hours of signing, with facility pass standards applied
