Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, where your role as an Assistant Housekeeper is vital to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. This full-time position involves performing daily cleaning duties with attention to detail and adherence to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned patient rooms and ancillary areas daily, following specific procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of office spaces as per policy.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents for assigned tasks.
• Ensure housekeeping carts are locked, stored properly, and kept organized.
• Complete and submit daily cleaning logs to supervisors.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors or plant operations.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential. Willingness to learn additional tasks and duties is important.

Experience:

0-3 months of experience in housekeeping or floor care is acceptable, including on-the-job training or prior work experience.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Good communication skills and ability to organize work effectively.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, lift up to 40 pounds, and push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safe chemical use and housekeeping equipment operation.

Working Conditions:

May encounter unpleasant odors, body fluids, and potential exposure to infectious diseases. Work environment includes exposure to cleaning chemicals and wet or slick surfaces. Some areas may contain medications.
