• Shift: Mon-Tue, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-site + night call); weekends, 6 hours of rounding + on-call until 8 AM next day
• Hours/Week: Full-time, including weekend coverage
• Employment Type: Contract
• License/Certs: BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or BC in General Psychiatry with CAP fellowship
• Experience: Minimum required
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

What You'll Do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans for adolescent patients
• Manage 6-12 patients per day, including medication management and psychotherapy
• Participate in developing individualized care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Handle weekend rounding and after-hours on-call responsibilities
• Make admission orders during night shifts when necessary
• Work within a supportive, clinical environment focused on adolescent mental health
• Utilize electronic medical records and diagnostic imaging tools to inform patient care

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship
• California medical license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 3+ years pediatric and adolescent psychiatry experience in a medical-center setting or completion of a pediatric psychiatry residency
• Experience managing complex pediatric populations and medications
• Strong communication skills and cultural competence

Preferred:

• Experience with complex behavioral cases and family systems
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with families
