Lead Ultrasound Tech

POSITION SUMMARY: Position: Lead Ultrasound Tech Department: Antenatal Testing - MP Schedule: Full Time Salary :$ 95,000/yr - $104,000/yr plus benefits **$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS** Under the general guidance of the Operations Manager, the Lead Tech provides administrative and technical leadership for the Antenatal Testing Unit (ATU). Lead Technologist leads, plans and coordinates the daily operations of the ATU department through interactions with staff, administration, other departments, MFMs and others as necessary. Primary duty is to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and professional standards. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Associates degree or a 2-year patient-based allied health program (Ultrasound, Medical Sonography or Radiology preferred) or Armed Forces equivalent medic/corpsman program (DD-214 required as proof) Certification RDMS (Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) required. EXPERIENCE: At least two years experience in Level 2 OB/GYN ultrasound are required. Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
