X-Ray Technician in Powell, TN

Seeking a skilled professional to provide imaging support as an X-ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves working alongside dedicated healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.


Schedule:

• Alternating weeks: Three 12-hour shifts one week and four 10-hour shifts the next
• Requires coverage every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year as an X-ray Technologist in a clinical setting
• Valid ARRT(R) certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to adapt to fast-paced environments and rotating shift patterns

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality
• Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams, providing clear instructions and support throughout the process
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, reporting malfunctions as necessary
• Accurately document patient procedures and maintain records following regulatory standards
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Adhere to all safety guidelines related to radiation protection and infection control
