Job Title: Charge Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: Temporary Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in Medical-Surgical or Critical Care License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required, NHISS needed prior to start, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Up-to-date resume, 2+ years of experience in specialty, recent Charge/Manager RN references, skills checklist matching specialty, drivers' license with matching address, NURSYS report for license verification, RTO must be included Description: We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Medical-Surgical setting. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing or Critical Care nursing, with a solid understanding of patient ratios and acuity. The ideal applicant should hold an active RN license, along with required certifications. Candidates must provide an up-to-date resume that highlights relevant experience and travel history. Recent references as Charge or Manager RN are required. A skills checklist matching the nursing specialty must be completed for consideration. A valid driver's license with an address that matches the submitted demographics is necessary. NURSYS report for license verification must be submitted. Availability for the role should be clearly stated in the submission. EMR experience, particularly with Cerner, is preferred but not mandatory.
