Production Position

Wage: $23.20/hour

Shift: 1st

Production Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compounding and surrounding production areas

- Sweep and mop floors, clean equipment surfaces, and remove waste and debris in accordance with company procedures

- Assist compounders by retrieving raw materials, cleaning mixing containers, and preparing workstations

- Fill barrels with wood chips/dust by placing bags inside barrels, closing and sealing bags, sealing barrels, and maneuvering filled barrels onto pallets (4 barrels per pallet)

- Safely maneuver barrels weighing approximately 300 lbs onto pallets using proper equipment and procedures

- Operate and monitor robotic equipment, including robotic system that fills bags with wood chips and robotic palletizing and shrink-wrapping system

- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation and identify issues

- Troubleshoot basic faults and learn to identify equipment issues (training provided)

- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize pallets of bagged product

- Monitor and replenish cleaning and production supplies as needed

- Work closely with other departments to maintain efficient workflow and cleanliness

- Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately

- Complete required cleaning and production documentation for regulatory compliance

Requirements for Production

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lb cartons of product

- Ability to maneuver 300 lb barrels using proper equipment and techniques

- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
