Scheduling Specialist

To support patient care operations, the full-time Scheduling Specialist will manage pre-registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes remotely while ensuring optimal patient flow and customer service. Key responsibilities Pre-registers patients for appointments and tests, verifying and updating demographic and insurance information Handles complex scheduling events, ensuring accurate financial responsibility and communication with service delivery areas Collects payments and reminds patients of financial obligations, ensuring necessary documentation is obtained for appointments Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access Experience with Cisco Finesse Phone System and Epic strongly preferred Demonstrated customer service experience in a high-volume healthcare call center Strong understanding of Windows Operating System and ability to navigate multiple screens effectively
