The Emergency Center at Conroe is hiring a PRN Patient Services Coordinator with flexible availability to help cover day, night, and weekend shifts as needed. The Patient Services Coordinator is the face of The Emergency Center. The primary function is to create an excellence experience with every person who encounters The Emergency Center, whether by phone, electronically or in person. In addition, the Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for greeting patients, registering them in the system, performing several administrative functions, and working as a team with medical providers to coordinate patient medical care both in the facility and with local hospitals and doctors' offices.

Compensation: $18.00/Hour DOE

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Post high school education

Experience:

• Preferred: Customer service in medical fields

Computer Skills:

• Adapt to software programs used by facility.
• Required: Operate fax machine, copier, label printer, and phone system, load printer paper and change toner.
• Required: Working knowledge of basic computer systems, navigate office's computer network.

Other Requirements:

• Required: Speak, read, and write in English
• Preferred: Speak, read, and write in Spanish

The Emergency Center was born from the desire to provide a better patient and staff experience. Our goal is to exceed every patient's expectation by providing not only a high level of medical care, but also exceptional, friendly, individualized customer service throughout the entire patient experience. Our company headquarters is in Chandler, AZ, and consists of various departments including accounting, human resources, and practice management. We also own and operate a freestanding emergency center in San Antonio, TX, and are partnered with Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital to provide ER physician and APP staffing for their two hospitals and 12 satellite EDs. The Emergency Center is a drug and nicotine-free workplace, and all employees will be required to complete a negative drug screen prior to employment.
