Senior AI Engineer, Agent Platform

Salary: $245,000 - 300,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph on day one; we cannot sponsor or upgrade clearances.
• We want 8+ years of experience building and operating production infrastructure or software.
• We need production Kubernetes experience, including Helm and GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• We expect hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines, including container scanning and signing.
• We look for AWS experience, including C2S/SC2S or other air-gapped environments.
• We need strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, and identity systems such as OIDC/SAML and LDAP.
• We require recent hands-on work with LLMs or agents within the last two years, such as deploying a model endpoint, building an MCP server, or shipping an agent to production.
• We expect you to write code in Python, Go, or TypeScript and to use AI coding tools daily.
• Work must be on-site in Chantilly, VA.

• Build and operate our AI gateway and agent runtimes on air-gapped Kubernetes, keeping tools and skills isolated.
• Create the pipeline that scans, signs, attests, and approves MCP servers, skills, and container images before release.
• Manage deployments through GitOps so changes are reviewed, versioned, and repeatable.
• Integrate models across hosted OpenAI-compatible APIs, Bedrock, and local open-weight models.
• Connect the platform with enterprise SSO, LDAP groups, and audit logging so permissions follow the user.
• Support the platform through ATO and explain the design to an ISSM when needed.
