Communications Specialist, Internal Communications Onsite Position Description We are seeking a sharp professional to join our internal communications team as a Communications Specialist. In this role, you will support our team in the planning, coordination, execution, and publishing/delivery of important communications and content to global employees. This position plays an important role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and timeliness of communications, and supporting our digital tools and content. You will contribute to day-to-day execution, support workflows, coordinate with stakeholders, and perform the final critical tasks to deliver our content and complete our work. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support coordination and execution of communications projects and deliverables Assist with publishing and distribution of content across channels (intranet, email, SharePoint, etc.) Help manage workflows, timelines, and tasks within project management tools Perform quality assurance activities, including proofreading, formatting, fact-checking, and routing for approvals Maintain and update intranet content and support overall platform upkeep Provide general support to communicators and stakeholders, including guidance on processes and best practices Assist with light content development, including writing, editing, and templated design support Help organize and maintain communications assets, files, and archives Support reporting, editorial planning, and meeting preparation Participate in testing new features, tools, and channel capabilities Contribute to governance adherence and consistency across communications platforms Other duties as assigned Required Skills & Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience supporting projects, workflows, or coordination activities Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders Comfort working across a mix of administrative, coordination, and content-related tasks Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint Preferred Qualifications Experience with digital content publishing, CMS, intranet, or website management Familiarity with project management or editorial workflow tools Experience with proofreading, basic writing, or content editing Exposure to digital storytelling, internal communications, or marketing communications Experience supporting or coordinating communications campaigns or projects Familiarity with basic design templates or creative asset coordination Education Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Austin Community College
