Construction Attorney

Welling Young, LLC has partnered with a rapidly growing internal claims organization with a focus in Florida. This client manages claims litigation for the Companies insurers and underwriting programs. They are seeking a skilled Construction Defect Attorney. Responsibilities Provide quality customer service and communication with insured(s), TPA and carrier. Directly handle construction claims of high-level complexity and legal matters assigned to you by the Managing Attorney. Proactively investigate each claim with expedited and appropriate contact with relevant parties to determine potential exposure. Identify, select, and direct appropriate internal and/or external resources for specific activities required to effectively evaluate claims, such as appraisers, counsel, and experts. Provide counseling and legal services to general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and developers involving complex defect claims. Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law on Complex Construction Defect Cases. Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues, clients, adjusters, expert witnesses, mediators and opposing counsel. Promptly negotiate proper disposition of claims with applicable parties. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 3-6+ years of construction defect litigation experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Welling Young, LLC
